HOPE COMMUNITY CHURCH FOOD PANTRY

Open Thursdays 11am to 1pm

END OF YEAR PANTRY HOURS

The HOPE Community Church food pantry will be closed on December 25th, 2025 and January 1, 2026. We will reopen on Thursday, January 8.

THANKS TO OUR DONORS IN 2025

We are blessed by the continuing support we receive from the community who share in our mission of providing nutritious food to our community as people find themselves in need. From Deseret Farms who provided 138 cases of food this Fall to the numerous financial supporters who give generous gifts throughout the year, thank you! Our brothers and sisters at the Burley United Methodist Future Vision Committee and the Episcopal Church made large financial donations in support of God's work in the Pantry.

Thank you also to everyone who volunteers their time to keep the pantry up and running. The public facing part of the pantry operation is visible from 11 to 1 every Thursday, but there are many who work behind the scenes other days of the week. These wonderful people collect food from local restaurants, receive deliveries from the Idaho Food Bank and others, and then stock the shelves and build the food boxes to prepare for the weekly distribution. Thank you! Thank you! None of this would be possible without you.

In her second year partnering with the HCC Pantry, Lexi Anderson and the Minico High School FFA chapter worked to raise money and provide holiday turkeys to accompany 100 food boxes to our neighbors.

Thanks to Idaho Power, Les Schwab, and Westmark Credit Union for their generous provision of three pallets of food for the pantry.

Humble beginnings

The Hope Community Church Food Pantry began as an idea for serving our community and western Minidoka county. After serving with the Idaho Food Bank mobile pantry for many years, the team was given a vision for a local food bank to provide for the needs of our neighbors at an easily accessible place and time. The Food Pantry was born with a few cans and some dry staples.

We have partnered with the Idaho Food Bank and other local generous supporters to stock the pantry to supply the needs of all who come. When you arrive, one of our staff will meet you at your car and ask you how many people we will be feeding. Boxes are assembled in the pantry and delivered to your car. While you're waiting we are happy to pray for you, just ask.

The hours of the pantry are from 11:00am to 1:00pm every Thursday (weather permitting). The pantry entrance is on the west side of the church building. Park your car in the parking area and one of the pantry volunteers will be happy to come out and serve you.
