Welcome

We’re glad to see you’re interested in visiting us. This might be your first time in church or you may have a lifetime of church participation, either way we welcome you to experience the community of Hope. You are probably curious what Sunday morning looks like so we’ll give you the rundown. There are numerous other opportunities for growth, care and service beyond Sunday morning, so don’t hesitate to let us know what you’re interested in.
 
What to Expect on Sunday Morning

1. We gather to celebrate at 10:00 and spend 75 minutes in worship
2. Grab a bulletin on the way in. This will give you the schedule for upcoming activities and for Crown Street children's Sunday school and the youth group.
3. We will sing some songs; some old, some new, some you know and others we’ll teach you
4. We will open the Bible and explore God’s word to us.
5. Children are excused to attend Children’s church after we sing. If you would like them to stay with you that’s fine as well. There is care for infants and toddlers in the Nursery.
6. There will be a couple of minutes where we say good morning to one another. Don’t be surprised when people come over to meet you.

 
What Not to Expect on Sunday Morning

1. Suits and ties, although Pastor is a snappy dresser. Come exactly as you are.
2. Passing of the collection plate. We believe in gifts of the heart and we collect them in a box at the back of the sanctuary.
3. Anything weird that will make you uncomfortable.
